Hi, my name is Asta.
I am a graduate communication designer and my career path has definitely not been linear. Having devoted 12 years to roles such as creative director, project leader, and managing director at the media corporation VIVA Television across Germany, Italy, and Switzerland, I discovered that the most fascinating and crucial element of my profession revolved around the team, the individuals. Consequently, in 2007, I established my own company MELT.MEDIA Berlin. A sole proprietorship enriched with a network of partners I collaborate with, centering on people and culture topics.
Starting something new is particularly exciting for me and I like to work both practically and strategically in projects. Additionally I have always had a wide range of interests. Since 1999, for example, I have been a member of the Art Directors Club for Germany. I'm also a certified Digital Transformation Manager since 2019, and since 2020 I am working part-time at the digital UX and brand innovation agency think moto as Director People & Culture, while continuing my self-employment. Furthermore I teach "Teams, Tools & Leadership" at the HSD Design Faculty. My native language is German, but I also enjoy working in English-speaking environments.
